The past section of “A Story of Emily Post” actually got me to thinking about the story more in-depth. It is nearing a critical point and I am not at all happy about Part XIII. Please bear with me as we get things back on track in Part XIV.
Why am I telling you this? Because I have often wondered while reading fiction what a writer was thinking – or not thinking – at certain points in the story because things either slowed down to a crawl in the action, or I feel quite silly by some plot point that just doesn’t make sense. So, as “A Story of Emily Post” has progressed I have tried to share some of my thoughts about it directly with you readers. YOU are what matter most, other than telling one helluva good story, of course.
Parts XII and XIII were through, even though I have genuinely enjoyed writing both sections; however, even I find my mind wandering a little in the story. I KNOW what must happen next, and it is going to get there. Since “A Story of Emily Post” is an experiment for myself I realize some of the things I do wrong and right. This is helping me to improve my writing all around. Thank you for bearing with me as much as you have through these trials. Without your readership and support I am not sure the fire for writing and telling a good story would be as strong as it is now!
So, how does one train a psychic for self-defense?
