The packing has begun for the move. It is a relaxed pace at the moment, but this will change beginning with tomorrow. There is a “moving party” planned for us tomorrow, thanks to Cheyenne. He is collecting as many friends as possible so we can pack up things and get other things moved. If anyone in the Lexington area would like to help, just give me a call and we’ll give you directions on how to get here. I promise to stay out-of-the-way as much as possible.
The office, my personal space , is one of my main concerns. It has already been packed a little and some of the more important stuff has been placed into nice safe plastic boxes with lids. One of my goals for next week is to move the computer and get internet and phone access going at the apartment and slowly begin working on getting what little has been moved, or moved tomorrow, into its proper place there.
Moving has become very real, and very painful. I don’t mean emotionally painful either, but physically painful for me. Yesterday my right hand was swollen to twice its normal size and was so sore and hurt so badly I couldn’t type, hold a pen, or play video games. The arthritis in it attacked outright and put me to sitting quietly and being as still as possible. Today it is better, as you can see, I am now typing and can hold a pen, but the speed of said typing is a little slower than normal, and this is perfectly fine: I am just thankful I can type and write again!
“A Story of Emily Post” is suffering horribly because of the moving going on. There is a lot I would like to put down on her story, and ideas are coming left and right for the novel which will begin as soon as the story is complete.
Since the paranormal romance/adventure was rejected I have put it aside for now and will get back to it later. The Hubs has asked me to finish the story of WHRTtT and the fantasy he read several years ago. I am looking forward to these two novels reaching their final drafts and submitting them somewhere. I know that one person will definitely read and enjoy them to the fullest. Sometimes having your greatest fan also be your significant other can truly be intoxicating!
Will be catching up with you all as I can in the next few days, and hopefully posting a few pictures of the grand moving adventure. For now, I stop using my hand and go read a book.
